FAQ

  • DRESS CODE?

Dress up, but not black tie. Feel free to wear something fun, in whatever color you like.

The following jerseys are allowed: Mets, Islanders, Knicks, and Tar Heels. The list of banned jerseys is every team not mentioned above (including the Jets. We don’t want people getting sick on our wedding day.)

  • REHERSAL DINNER?

No, but we’re invite EVERYONE to hang out at the Northside District in Chapel Hill on Saturday night from 6pm-whenever. There will be karaoke and foosball. Food and drinks are available to purchase.

  • WEDDING SHUTTLE?

Yes, there will be a 55 person wedding shuttle from the Hampton Inn in Carrboro. The pickup time is 2:30pm. The bus will arrive at the Haw River Ballroom around 3pm. The return trip to the Hampton Inn is 10pm.

Free parking is available in the parking deck next to the hotel. Make sure you don’t park in the spaces marked for hotel guests.

Do not ask the Hampton Inn about the bus. They have no idea we’re doing this and by the time they realized, the bus will be long gone! Sorry suckers!

  • BALLROOM PARKING?

If you can’t make the shuttle, there is plenty of parking at or near the Haw River Ballroom. Please do not park on the road leading to the venue.

  • START TIME?

The wedding ceremony will start at 3:30pm sharp. We will have a group photo at the start of the ceremony, so please be on time.

We ask guests to arrive at 3pm to ensure enough time to park and find a seat.

And no, Lindsay will not photoshop you into the group photo if you miss it.

  • AFTER PARTY?

Yes, we will continue the post-wedding party at the Orange County Social Club (OCSC).

Unfortunately, North Carolina laws prohibit people under 21 from celebrating with us after the wedding. There is no North Carolina law prohibiting kids from hanging out in the OCSC parking lot and shooting dice.

  • OTHER THINGS TO DO?

With the help of our friend Dan Hirsch, we are compiling a list of goings on that weekend.

When in doubt, open your browser, go to “google.com,” enter “things to do in Chapel Hill/Carrboro when I’m not at a wedding.”

  • FRIDAY NIGHT?

For those who arrive in town on Friday, we’re hosting a pizza party at Lindsay’s gallery, PEEL, from 7-9. Stop by, grab a slice, and enjoy all the artwork and fun things PEEL has to offer.
